Obituary of Geoffrey Lawrence Hitchon

Geoffrey Lawrence Hitchon, born on November 24, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Dorothy McMurray Hitchon and Ronald Bright Hitchon, passed away at age 56 on August 24, 2018 in Freehold, NJ. Geoff was a graduate of Freehold High School, and attended Slippery Rock State College. Geoff was well known for his generous spirit, always willing to help those in need. He also loved the outdoors and writing poetry. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Dorothy McMurray Hitchon; three siblings: Paul McMurray Hitchon; Breta Bauman Colanero and husband Stephen, Elizabeth Anne Cable and husband Rick; several cousins, and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. A visitation will be take place at 6:00pm, Tuesday, August 28th at Freeman Funeral Home, with a memorial service immediately following.
