Obituary of Helen Meyers

Helen Meyers, 83, of Marlboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 13, 2018. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to NJ years later in 1989. Helen was a vibrant woman who could have you laughing for days. She always put others first and will never be forgotten by those she took care of. She was also a breast cancer survivor. Helen traveled the world but her favorite place was the beautiful home she made for her family in Greenbriar of Marlboro. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Charlie, along with her two brothers, Tommy and Donald. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Alvarez, her four sons, Michael, John, Richard, and Keith, and her sister, Mary. She is also survived by her seven granddaughters. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 18th at 10:30am at Saint Gabriel's Historic Church in Marlboro. A private entombment ceremony will follow as she is laid to rest at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, or the Susan G.
