Obituary of Benedict Augun

Benedict A. Augun, 81, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center. Born in Neptune, he was a life-long Freehold resident. After serving in the Army, he was employed as a warehouseman for E.I. DuPont in Sayreville, NJ. Benedict was predeceased by his siblings, Anthony Augun and Jenny Soloman. He is survived by his wife, Gwen; his daughter, Kimberly and her husband William Hope of Howell; his son, Scott Augun of Howell; his sister, Alice Kravchak; and grandchildren Devin Castellano and her husband Joseph; and Miranda Hope. At Ben's request, he will be privately cremated. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main St. Freehold, NJ.
