Obituary of Martin Fitzpatrick

Martin Fitzpatrick, a resident of Freehold, New Jersey, formerly of Brentwood, Long Island, passed away on July 17, 2018 at the age of 55 years. Marty was born on April 5,1963 in Brooklyn, NY. Marty was a proud graduate of St. John the Baptist High School. He attended SUNY Plattsburgh. Marty was a lifelong athlete and loved the outdoors. He was an avid runner, swimmer and cyclist and a proud member of the Jersey Shore Runner's Club, running in many charity events. He loved the Jersey shore, especially Belmar. Marty loved sports ! He was a volunteer soccer coach for the Marlboro Soccer Club and was a long suffering Mets and Jets fan ! Martin was predeceased by his father John J. Fitzpatrick and his nephew Christian Lehnert. He will be sadly missed by his mother Phyllis and his sisters Donna (Wayne), Christine (Gary) and Margaret ((John). Marty had 7 nieces and nephews who adored him, Emily, Erica. Meghan, Julia, John, Kayla and Jake. He is also survived by his Aunts, many cousins and many friends. Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 PM and on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. There will be a funeral liturgy on Saturday at 10:00 at St. Rose of Lima Church,
