Obituary of Kathleen Ann O'Connor

Kathleen O'Connor, 70, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. Kathleen loved the beach, playing bingo and the lottery, and the Friday night card games with her girlfriends; she was also a big fan of QVC! Over the course of her career, she worked as a personal assistant to three Monmouth County judges. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Charles in 1992; and her parents Charles (Todd) & Catherine Slattery. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sharlene & Edward Parze; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Brianna, Karissa, and Hailey; her brother Charles Slattery of Placerville, CA; her sister Mary Alice Henderson also of Freehold; and her beloved dogs Brandy, Sophia, and Daisy. Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Sunday, July 1 from 3 to 7 PM. There will be a funeral liturgy at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 12 noon; followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum.
