Obituary of Emanuel F Weiss

Emanuel Weiss, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Princeton. Born and raised in the Bronx; he moved to Brooklyn, then to Staten Island where he lived for 30 years before settling in Monroe ten years ago. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He met his future wife, Florence Zeitlin, when they were 13 years old; he was the "boy next door". They were happily married for 58 years. While living in Monroe, Emanuel was a member of the Veterans Club; he ran the Renaissance Bowling League; and enjoyed playing bocce, shuffleboard, and card games. He is survived by his loving wife, Florence; his son & daughter in law Steven & Kris Ann; daughter and son in law Ilisa & Robert Crowley; three grandchildren, Michael Crowley, Jonathan & Samantha Weiss; and his sister Lauretta Silverberg. There will be a service at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on Monday at 10:00 am; followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
