It's too hard to select one best memory of Marilyn, but I will always remember half-day Wednesdays at St. Rose, 4th of July BBQs, Christmas parties, and every event that Marilyn made wonderful, fun, and special! Thank you for sharing your wonderful wife/mother for the past 34 years with us!! My heart aches for your loss. Marilyn was truly the most thoughtful and generous woman - ever!! We love you and are standing by for whatever you need!! All our love, Michael, Lisa, Lucy & Mick

I was lucky enough to meet the LaRosa family through my sister. I was asked to make tote bags for my niece Lisa and Mark, who were new friends at St. Rose's Nursery School. My sister Pat and Marilyn became fast friends, and their families were intertwined forever. Our families grew, and the LaRosas were always there. Marilyn, Mike and Mark were my sister's dearest friends, and they became part of the family. I remember spending so many Easter Sundays with them all, and Marilyn was so famous for making her beautiful Easter Baskets for all the children, including my daughters. They will always treasure those memories. I will also remember her for making us beautiful crosses out of palm, on Palm Sunday. Marilyn, I will miss your happy and sweet personality, and your grace. You were one of the most wonderful, the most lovely, and the sweetest person I have ever met. May God grant you eternal rest....I will miss your smiling face!

My heartfelt condolences to Mark and dad. Dearest Marilyn mom and I are so deeply saddened by your passing. I will remember you as being a wonderful mother to Mark. One who loved him with all your heart as was clear with every phone call, your deep devotion to your husband which is evident in the longevity of your marriage. I will remember you for sense of style, and being a class act. I will raise my voice to honor you, and pray you will watch over my family and yours. There is no doubt you are in the hands of the angels.

Dear Mike and family, I was so sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. As you know, she and I go all the way back to Freehold Boro's Hudson St. School, Freehold Intermediate, and Freehold Boro High School. We were the best of friends the whole time. We graduated together in 1965. We grew up down the street from each other. Maryann and I have always enjoyed seeing her at class reunions, social events, and any other times around town. We will truly miss her smile and always happy attitude. May she rest in piece. We are so sorry for your families loss.

I first met Marilyn in our Freshman year at Freehold Boro High School. She was so friendly and helpful and cheerful and has been that way all her life. I will miss her so very much, we would catch up every five years at our combined Freehold Boro and Howell High Class reunions, always as if there were no years in between separating us. I will miss her warm welcoming nature, she was a real treasure as a friend and I send my sincerest condolences to her family and friends with prayers of comfort.
