John M. Mc Grath, 83, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on April 24th, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born and raised in Newark, NJ and resided in Port Reading, NJ before settling in Manalapan 25 years ago. John proudly served as a Marine in the Korean War. He was a truck driver and employed by Hermann Trucking before retiring. John was a member of the Marine Corps League. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Theresa. John is survived by wife Joan; son John Jr. and wife Dawna; son Patrick and wife Katie; daughter Catherine and husband Bryan; daughter Margaret and husband Bill, and son Joesph. He is survived by 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, April 26th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home.
