Obituary of Frank J. Durso

Frank J. Durso, 88, of Marlboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, with his loving family by his side, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Fondly known as "Frankie D", he was born in Brooklyn and has resided in Marlboro for the past 27 years. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Marlboro. He was a World War II Army veteran and a life member of the VFW in Brooklyn. Frank worked for the NYC Transit Authority as a bus driver for 25 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Geraldine; his daughter, Patricia Hansen of Monmouth Junction; his step-sons and daughters-in-law, Gerard and Annette Roszak of Howell and Frank and Miles Roszak of Los Angeles, CA; his sister, Bella Miccuci; his sisters-in-law, Mildred Curatola and Theresa Goralski; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, 5/24, from 3:30 to 7:30 PM at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, 5/25, at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel's Main Church, Marlboro. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
