Obituary of Donald Anthony Heffernan

Donald Anthony Heffernan, 82 of Manalapan passed away on December 29, 2017. Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, he spent most of his life in Edison, NJ before settling 8 years ago in Manalapan with his daughter, son in law and granddaughter. He worked for the Middlesex County Road Department for over thirty years before retiring. Donald loved being around his family and listening to jazz music. Donald was predeceased by his wife Joan; son Kenneth; sister Betty Cezar and brother Robert. He is survived by his son Michael; his daughter Tracy, son in law Anthony Vivelo; and granddaughter Alexandra Vivelo. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 3rd, 10:00 am at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
