Obituary of James A Brower iii

James Brower III, 59, Freehold, passed away on Sunday December 17, 2017. Born in Wilson Borough, Pennsylvania, he was a lifelong resident of Freehold. James was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1672, a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1454, and a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He was a self-employed building contractor for many years. James was predeceased by his father, James Jr. He is survived by his mother Toni (Thomas) Brower and his wife Cecelia (Heege) Brower; his step-daughters, Kim Hegarty and Megan Bratowicz; his step-grandchildren, Gianna, Nicholas, Christian, and Natalee; his sister Lisa and brother-in-law David Medeiros, his sister Susan and brother-in-law Jim McDonough, and his brother Thomas and sister-in-law Lisa Brower. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, December 20 from 5 to 8 pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold. There will be a service at the funeral home at 7:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Middletown.
