To know Lou was to love him. He was a special person who was a pleasure to be around. I am glad to have had the opportunity to be his manager, although I probably learned more from him then he did from me. He will be missed greatly. My heartfelt condolences to The Beeker family.

Words cannot express my sorrow at Lou's passing. He was one of a kind, and the best of people. I have been remembering so many of the things we shared at SBHS with the library group and I will always treasure those memories. I will always remember, too, how much he loved both of you. He was a gift that came into our lives - always full of humor but always honest, two qualities that are rare and so valuable to those of us he considered friends. My thoughts are with you.

My heart goes out to you as you deal with the sudden loss of your beloved husband and father. Lou was loved by all at SBHS as well. His signature gruff demeanor was just a way to hide his soft heart. He fixed all of our problems, big and small. Lou was a special friend to the Social Studies department - he loved to talk history! We will miss him every day and in so many ways.
