My thoughts and prayers are with the Kobel family. Mr. Kobel was always such an incredible and special guy. He was always so caring, hilarious and thoughtful and genuinely cared about what was going on in my life. Growing up, I admired him for his strength, humor, directness and class. It's no surprise that Anthony is the wonderful guy he is today, given he had Saul as a role model. He will be missed but he should be proud of the beautiful family he raised and the impact he will continue to have on so many lives. I'm proud to have known him and send my love to the Kobels.

Part of my life for so many years, it is so very difficult to think of him not walking through our kitchen door with both hands filled with bagels, fresh mozzarella, spedines, Brooklyn Bread, Italian cookies, his usual jokes and contagious laughter. He has taken a piece of all of our hearts with him... especially his "son" Vincent who called him Momma! And his "daughter' MaryRose who adored her Uncle Saulie. And his other wife - Paulette who wrote His Name on our marriage certificate instead of mine! I am lucky to have only good memories of the laughter, travel times, family occasions, holidays and special celebrations - he was always there at my side. Saul, you will always have a place in our heart. Michael, Paulette, MaryRose & Vincent
