Obituary of Paul DeJesse

Dr. Paul DeJesse, 77 of Barnegat, passed away on September 2th, 2017 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Northfield, NJ, he was a resident of Monmouth County for over 45 years. Paul served as a Lieutenant with the 177th Fighter Wing Tactical Air Command, New Jersey National Guard, from 1964 - 1968 and was called up for active duty. He was the president and CEO of Paul A. DeJesse, Inc. Advertising, a health care advertising/communication agency. Prior to that he was an advertising executive at several major agencies in New York City. Paul also was a professor of Advertising/Marketing and Medical Humanities. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life and business partner Phyllis Sbrolla DeJesse; his beloved son Lieutenant Colonel (Army Reserve) Andrew Scott DeJesse (Elizabeth) and grandsons Phillip Scott, William Scott, and Henry Scott of Amarillo, Texas. The viewing will be Wednesday, September 6th, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. The funeral mass is Thursday, September 7th, 10:00 am at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, 549 Route 520 East, Marlboro. Interment will be private.
