Richard is survived by his loving wife Eileen; his children Terri and her son andrew Holowach; Richard and his wife Denise, Joseph and his wife Connie; Michele and her husband Scott Dawson; Eileen and her husband Kevin Hawkins; and Gary and his wife Lisa. He is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew Holowach, Jr., Matthew, Nicholas, Evan, and Allysa Szczesny; Jessica Urner, Shawn Szczesny, Mackenzie Calinda, Travis Dawson, Randy and Dallas Hawkins, Jack and Tanner Szczesny; and his great grandchildren Lucas and Kailey Urner
