Obituary of Martin Strumpf

Martin Strumpf, 53, of Manalapan Township, died at home Friday, June 2, 2017. Born in Jersey City, he formerly resided in Kendall Park prior to moving to Manalapan 25 years ago. He was a professional golfer and taught at Farmer Browns Golf Center in Howell Township and was an active coach with the Special Olympics. Martin was predeceased by his father Victor and his sister, Gale Rose Strumpf. He is survived by his mother Shirley Strumpf of Kendall Park; his loving wife, Wendy and his daughter Jaclyn Leah of Manalapan A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 10:00 am at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics, www.specialolympics.org.
