Obituary of Annette Marie King

Annette Marie King, fondly known as Cookie, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Cookie was born in Perth Amboy and lived in Marlboro for 47 years before recently moving to Barnegat. She worked as a Floral Manager prior to retirement and enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to Atlantic City.
Cookie is predeceased by her husband Henry, and her brothers Robert and Gary Markus. She is survived by her daughter Deana Valiante and Jeffrey in NJ; her son James King in PA; and her daughter Michelle King in OK; 8 grandchildren, John, Rebecca, Kristen, Stephanie, Tammy, James, Matthew and Lilly; two great-grandsons, Aydan and Ian. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters: Benjamin & Deborah Markus, Patricia & Sonny Hagenson, Ronald & Sissy Markus, Nancy & Lance Bunker, Kenneth Markus, Brian & Nancy Markus, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Private cremation, as requested by Cookie, was handled by Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main St, in Freehold. Family and friends will share fond memories at her daughter's home on Saturday June 24, 2017 at 1:00.
