Obituary of Geraldine Margaret Paul

Geraldine Paul, 86, passed away at her home in the Surrey Downs section of Howell Township on Wednesday, May 17th. Geraldine was born in New York City, and has been a resident of the Freehold area for the last 50 years.
She worked as a Corrections Officer for the Monmouth County Juvenile Detention Center in Freehold. Prior to that, Geraldine worked at The American Hotel in Freehold.
Mrs. Paul was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Ann in 2008. She is survived by her sons David, Ronald, and Steven; her daughters Susan DeCandia, and Laura Pluta; and her daughters and sons-in law, Marija Paul, Lisa Paul, Sam DeCandia, and Joe Pluta; and six grandchildren; Alisha, Andrew, Ryan, Ashley, Amanda, and Ethan.
There will be a memorial gathering at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Wednesday, May 24th from 4:00 to 6:30 pm; with a memorial service beginning at 6:30. Donations can be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
