Geraldine Lanza, 71 of Jackson, passed away at CentraState Medical Center on April 28th, 2017. Born in Jersey City, Geraldine was a resident of Manalapan before settling in Jackson two years ago. She and her husband Vincent were the former owners of Jack Frost Ice Cream, Englishtown.
Geraldine was predeceased by her husband Vincent and siblings Robert, Linda, Elizabeth and Kenneth. She is survived by her son Thomas and wife Suzanne; daughter Lori Peckham and husband Bruce; son Peter and wife Suzanne; daughter Danielle Widawsky and husband Tom; son Vincent Jr. and wife Michelle; sister Frances Ward and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, May 1st, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. Her graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, May 2nd, 10:30 at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.
