Glasgow, Scotland Sister Carol was in my Sabbatical class at Berkeley and I was devastated to hear of her death. I will always remember her great love of music. The way she threw herself into her studies was matched only by her great enthusiasm for life. It was such a delight and privilege to know the loving and unthreatening person that Sister Carol was. My thoughts and prayers go to her family who must be broken hearted; she often spoke of her family with a great fondness. With her love of the underprivileged and the poor she was a living example for all of us. "May the angels lead you into Paradise".

Sister Carol was an amazing person that I was blessed to have worked for many years ago at the Collier Group Home. She was also one of the smartest, funniest and warmest people I have ever known. RIP my friend. Godspeed.

"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." ~ Leo Buscaglia I will miss Aunt Carol greatly, but her life enriched mine just by the examples she chose to participate in everyday of her life. I know God has a special place for her in heaven and that there will definitely be a fiesta in heaven tonight! There are several at the pearly gates in our family welcoming her as I type.... Here's to you Aunt Carol! Thank you for your grace, your beautiful smile, your sweet gentle touch, those long hugs, the twinkle in your eye, the importance you gave to each of us when we came into your presence, the beauty in your huge heart, the amount of energy you never ran out of when anyone needed you and now, we have our beautiful memories with you! You have a place in my heart that is filled by your loved, a place that has shown me how to be a better person to my family, my neighbors and the poor. I will miss you, Aunt Carol, but I am a better person because of you. Go in peace, be with God and enjoy the celebration! I loved you for loving me for I was the blessed one! Trish

Aunt Carol will be sadly missed. As a child, I always looked forward to her visits. She was such a warm, loving, and kind woman. As an adult, I did not get to visit with her as much, but when I did, it brought me such happiness. Aunt Carol will forever be remembered as the beautiful person she was. Take good care of my Dad Aunt Carol. He is blessed to have you with him.
