Obituary of Nancy Carol Grof-Tisza

Family and Friends mourn the loss of Nancy Carol (Disanza) Grof-Tisza, on 4/19/2017. Beloved wife of Joseph Grof-Tisza. She was born in Teaneck, NJ. Daughter of the late William G. Disanza and Marie Disanza. Nancy grew up in Bergen County graduating from Bergenfield High School. She was Vice President of Sales at Capitas LTC, Long Term Care. She was a member of Vital Church in Toms River, NJ. Nancy's bright smile and warm heart was endearing to all that knew her. She loved to spend time in her garden tending to a variety of flowers and shrubs. Her family was her greatest passion and she cherished the time she was able to spend with them. Nancy was very special to everyone who was fortunate to have her in their life, and she will be dearly missed. Nancy is survived by her husband Joseph Grof-Tisza and step children, Alexandra (Joseph) Hakim, Kalman (Gabriella) Grof-Tisza, and Lauren Grof-Tisza. Grandchildren Isabella Grof-Tisza, Amelia Grof-Tisza, and Jack Hakim. Siblings Joseph Disanza (Betty), Bill Disanza (Mary), Joanne Pappicco (David), Marie Monohan (Phillip), Paul Disanza (Debra). Her nieces and nephews Jennifer Agati, William Disanza, Jeffrey Disanza, Matthew Pappicco, Adam Disanza, Christine Monohan, Lindsey Monohan, Sarah Disanza, and Zachery Disanza. Celebration of Life Service will be at Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold NJ. at 11 AM on 5/19/2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
