Obituary of Domenick V Montecalvo

Domenick V. Montecalvo, 75, of Old Bridge, passed away on February 4th, 2017. He was born and raised in Jersey City before settling in Old Bridge in 2002. Domenick served in the National Guard and worked for the United States Postal Service before retiring. He was predeceased in 2004 by his beloved wife Joan. Domenick is survived by his son Domenick; daughters Joanne, Mary and Lisa; sister and brother in law, Susanne and Chris Patunas; grandchildren Nicholas and Tyler and countless family & friends. Domenick was dedicated father and found limitless joy in spending time with his grandchildren and extended family. He was an avid sports fan and could be found watching his Giants, Rangers or Mets on any given day. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8th, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:15 am on Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Old Bridge. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
