Obituary of Lorraine Barbara Dean Filozof

Lorraine Barbara Dean Filozof, 62, of Avenel, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Newark, she had resided in Union Beach prior to moving to Avenel three years ago. She was a bus driver for Helfrich Bus Company, Keansburg. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Lawrence; two sons, Preston and Eric; two step daughters, Elizabeth and Jennifer; two sisters, Alberta Greene and Phyllis Gunnel; three nieces, Bonnie Seabolt and Tammy and Haley Gunnel and four nephews, Keenan, Graham and Logan Filozof and Brian Greene. Family and friends may visit Sunday, November 20th, from 2:00 pm until the time of her service at 5:45 pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Soup Kitchen, 247 Carr Avenue, Keansburg, NJ 07734.
