Obituary of Claudia Sensale

Claudia J. Sensale , of Freehold Township, lost her battle to breast cancer at 2am , November 5th, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. She fought cancer for fours years, remaining a positive and uplifting person. Claudia was born in Syracuse, NY on June 9th 1958. She resided in Freehold Township for most of her life, raising her beloved children. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Christmas Giving Tree program. In her spare time, she enjoyed home cooked meals with her family, and tea time with her close friends. She became a skilled quilter and often spent time with her granddaughter creating quilts for donation. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert; their four children and their spouses, Melina and Stergios Stratton, Brianna and Christopher Haveman, Angela Sensale, and Gregory Sensale;. In addition she is survived by her four grandchildren: Stergios, Elise, Elizabeth, and Aubrey. She is survived by her in-laws Robert and Joan Sensale and her two sisters, Leslie and her husband Jim Prendergast, and Karen and her husband Geddie Busanovich. Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, November 8th, from 4-8PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E Main St, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 9th at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St Joseph's School for the Blind in Jersey City or His Love Ministry.
