Obituary of Pietro Iaia

Pietro Iaia, 92, of Princeton Township, died on Sunday, September 30, 2012. Born in Italy, he resided in the Bronx, NY before moving to Princeton 12 years ago. Pietro served his country in the Italian Army during WWII. He was a butcher in the United States for 17 years before retiring. He was predeceased by his wife, Giovanna, in 2008. Pietro is survived by his son, Joseph of Weston, FL., his two daughters and son-in-law; Maria Iaia of Princeton and Isabella and Vincenzo Mancini of Millstone; and three grandchildren, Giacomo, Piero and Giancarlo Mancini. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 6th, at 9:30 AM, at St. Joseph Parish Church, Millstone Township. Arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
