Obituary of Christina Scalamandre

Christina Scalamandre, 77, of Freehold Township, passed away on August 19, 2016. Born in New York City, she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Freehold Township 12 years ago. Christina was a retired teacher's assistant for the New York City Board of Education. She was a communicant of St. Roberts Bellarmine, Freehold Township. Christina was predeceased by her husband Vincent. She is survived by her daughter Carlene Scalamandre; son Fred and wife Theresa Scalamandre; daughter Julie Buckner; son Vincent and wife Connie Scalamandre; brother Lawrence and wife Marie Stoppini; sister Kathy Scalamandre; brother Ricky and wife Joyce Scalamandre; many beloved nieces and nephews; Grandchildren James Buckner and wife Shannon, Christopher Buckner and girlfriend Deena, Nicholas Buckner and girlfriend Bri, Vincent, Stefano and Luca Scalamandre. Family and friends are invited to a viewing Monday, August 22nd, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, August 23rd at 10:00 am at St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township and interment to follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
