Obituary of Gloria Elizabeth Schenke

Gloria E. Schenke, 78, of Englishtown, died at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold on June 30, 2016. Born in Newark, she settled in Englishtown over 40 years ago. Gloria was a loving wife and mother who volunteered as a Cub Scout leader for many years. She was the owner and operator of Grooming by Gloria located in Englishtown. Gloria then ran a day center for the Arc of Middlesex. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick and brothers; Richard and Russell. Gloria is survived by her daughter Kelly; two sons and daughters-in-law; Frederick and his wife Debra and Eric and his wife Karen; two brothers and sisters-in-law; James and Doris Schroeder and Fred and Mary Ann Schroeder; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday from 2-6 pm with a funeral service at 5 pm at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. Interment will be private.
