Anita Berthiaume, 86, of Manalapan Township, passed away at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold on June 17, 2016. Born and raised in Cohoes, NY, she settled in Manalapan over 40 years ago. Anita was a loving wife and mother. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and always had a special place in her heart for cats.
Anita was predeceased by her husband, Joel; son, Joel and siblings Mederick Nadeau, Clement Nadeau, Theresa Masse, Jacqueline Connors. She is survived by her children John and Denise; two siblings Berthelin "Betty" Blanchet and Irene Chouinard; and three grandchildren, Ashley, Amy, and Allison Carhart.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, June 20th from 5 to 8pm at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 21st at 10 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Burial to follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
