Obituary of Derrick James Donovan

Derrick James Donovan 28 of Marlboro Derrick J. Donovan, 28, of Marlboro, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Born in Long Branch, he was a lifelong resident of Marlboro. Derrick was a 2005 graduate of the Marlboro High School and was employed as a technician for Viking Pest Control. He was a Revolutionary War enthusiast, an avid video gamer and a fan of Disney. He is predeceased by his paternal Grandfather Stewart O. Donovan and maternal grandmother Sherry Hoogerheide. Derrick is survived by his parents James & Shelley; sister Whitney; paternal Grandmother Maryann Giblin and her husband Charles and maternal Grandfather Donald Hoogerheide. The viewing is Sunday, May 15th, 2:00 - 6:00 pm with a funeral service at 6:00 pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home located 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
