Adelaide Thomas 89 of Manalapan Adelaide Thomas, 89, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016, surrounded by her family at home. Born in Bloomfield, Adelaide resided in Manalapan the majority of her life. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and enjoyed camping and sailing with her husband. Adelaide was a loving & caring wife and mother. Predeceased by her husband, John; she is survived by three children: Janet, James, daughter in law Astrid and John all of Manalapan; and grandchild, Christopher. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, March 30, from 4 to 8 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31, at 10am St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. A burial at Old Tennent Cemetery will follow.
