Obituary of Linda Catherine Calcaterra

Linda Catherine Calcaterra, 68, of Manalapan, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. She was born in Brooklyn and has been a Manalapan resident for 37 years. She was a member and past Deacon of Old Tennent Presbyterian Church and an active member of the Church's Womans Club. Linda loved gardening, flowers, and her grandchildren greatly. She also was the owner of Creative Designs by Linda. She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Calcaterra; her three children and their spouses, Cathy and Don Summer, of Millstone Twp, Anthony III and Maria Calcaterra, of Holmdel, Tim and Lori Calcaterra, of Jackson; and her six grandchildren, Ava, Dakota, Dante, Caden, and Nero Calcaterra, and Gabriella Summer. Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, March 13th from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, March 14th, at 10 am, at Old Tennent Presbyterian Church in Manalapan. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Old Tennent Presbyterian Church, 448 Tennent Rd, Manalapan.
