Obituary of John L. Altobelli

John Lindy Altobelli, 73, of Millstone Twp, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold. John was born in Perth Amboy and resided in Linden for 36 years. He then lived in Marlboro Township for 19 years and finally settled down in Millstone Township fourteen years ago. He was a member of the St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Millstone Township. John was the owner of P&J Salvage Yard in Morganville, prior to that he was the owner of Johnny's Barbershop in Edison. He was predeceased by his sister, Anna Leporino. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Altobelli; his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Mellisa Altobelli; and two brothers Frank and Leo Altobelli. Friends and family are invited to visit on Mon., Feb. 29th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Tues., March 1st, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
