Dear Elaine and Family.; I am sure you don't remember me, but I was one of your students in St. Rose when you met Mr. Cunningham. We all thought it was so great that the two of you were together. I think you got married after we graduated ( 1969). I was with another classmate the other day when we were talking about Mr. Cunningham and you, Elaine, when she told me the sad news. We are all so impressionable in our teens, and I liked you and Kevin the best because you were both lighthearted and, honestly, fun. Your classes were interesting ( I continued studying comparative religion in college) and with your histories, you were more reasonable, approachable, human. I am very sorry for our loss. I send my prayers and keep my good memories. Very truly yours, Janet Stephens SRHS 1969

Kevin was my guidance counselor at SJV and encouraged me and many of my SJV classmates to apply to Rutgers University, which I did. I was accepted and got a great education and made lifelong friendships for which I owe him a debt of gratitude. I am very sorry for your loss.

So sorry Elaine & Jenn and family. I know he suffered long enough. May he be in peace with God now. I am sure Lorraine was there to greet him. She probably had a nice home cooked dinner waiting for him. May God see you through this sad time in your life.

I am so sad to learn of Kevin's passing. As his colleague at CJHS, I enjoyed working with him. He had such kindness in his heart, and was quick to offer help and understanding. A great man who loved his family, his faith, the students he served and life will be greatly missed. Prayers for his soul and for his loving family.
