JACINTO VIERA-COLON, Age 85 of Freehold, NJ, passed away in the pre-dawn hours of Friday, September 18th, 2015. Beloved husband of 49 years to Olga Teresa; Loving Father and to (Aileen) and Paul Mazza and (Margarita) and Alberto Germoso. Treasured Grandfather of Cristine, Terry, Paulie, Matthew and Joseph; Great-Grandfather of Nicholas, Alexander and Isaiah. Beloved Brother-in-Law of Frank Padilla. Loving Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews, Jacinto Viera-Colon is also survived by his sister Alicia in Puerto Rico.
Born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, the eldest son of Juana Viera de Colon, Jacinto was the beloved Brother to his 4 siblings whom he help raise during his early life in Puerto Rico. After leaving Puerto Rico, Jacinto eventually came to reside in New York, where he would later meet Olga, who would become his wife, and the love of his life. Known to all as either "Jaso" or "Jack", he loved his family dearly and opened his home and heart to those all who needed it. "Jaso" enjoyed cooking and relished in the flavors of his Latin culture. A Boxing sport aficionado, as well as a monster movie and science fiction buff, Jaso also thoroughly enjoyed zoos, music, the ocean and regular visits to his place of birth, Puerto Rico.
JACINTO VIERA-COLON, is and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and deeply missed by those who loved him.
