Obituary of Concetta Lauria

Concetta "Connie" Lauria, 73, of Manalapan, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Brooklyn, she had resided in Manalapan for the past 49 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Englishtown. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother who loved to cook for everyone and she will be missed by all. She is survived by her four children, Denise Lauria Venitelli of Westfield, Lynda Lauria of Manalapan, Richard Lauria of Manalapan and Stephanie Lauria Kissner and her husband, Chris of Manalapan; her sister, Linda Venitelli of Brooklyn; four grandchildren, Richard J., Dimitri, Emily and Ryan; and her companion, Barry Swerdloff. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 30, from 7 to 9 PM and on Friday, July 31, from 4 to 8 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro.
