Virginia was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and moved to Elizabeth where she spent most of her life. She enjoyed family and friends, the beach and traveling with her family to see her family and friends in Puerto Rico. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was predeceased by her husband, Ruben; her son, David; and brothers, Johnny, Jorge,Cheo and George. She is survived by her children, Ruben, Linda and Blanca; siblings, Miguelin, Blanquita, Victor and Miriam; and grandchildren, David, Adeline, Jarissa, Dawn, Judy, Brittany, Jonathan, Christopher and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Jaylynn, Sierra and Aubrey; and several nieces and nephews. Virginia loved her family and friends dearly and had a great impact on all the lives she touched. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit on Wednesday, Dec. 4th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 5th, at 10:00 AM, at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Matawan. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American National Red Cross at www.redcross.org.
